By creating a BEATME account or using creator tools (race pages, Studio, billing), you accept these Terms. If you do not agree, do not create an account.
Friends may lock a prediction on a public race page without an account. Creators must have an account.
By ticking the box at registration you confirm you have read the Terms of Use and Privacy Policy and that you are at least 18 years old.
You must be 18 or older. You are responsible for your login, for activity on your account, and for keeping your email reachable. We may suspend accounts that break these Terms.
BEATME lets athletes publish a race page, collect finish-time predictions from friends, reveal results, keep a public athlete profile, and design images in Studio. Packs (including First race on us, One race, Season pack, and Studio) are described on the pricing page.
A free first race, if offered, can be claimed once per account. Paid packs are fulfilled after Stripe confirms payment. Race credits are consumed when you publish a race. Studio exports are consumed when you download.
BEATME is software only. We do not organise, supervise, or attend your race. We do not run betting, hold prize money, or process payouts between you and your friends.
You are solely responsible for any training or racing you do. BEATME does not provide medical or coaching advice. Physical activity can cause injury. Get medical clearance if you need it. Stop if you feel unwell.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the operator is not liable for personal injury, lost races, disputes about predictions or prizes, payment issues at Stripe, outages, or lost data, except where German law forbids an exclusion (including liability for intent and gross negligence, and for injury to life, body, or health).
Where liability can be limited for slight negligence in standard terms (BGB §§ 305–310), aggregate liability is limited to the greater of fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim or EUR 10.
Nothing here removes mandatory EU/German consumer rights.
Paid packs are one-time purchases processed by Stripe Checkout. Prices are shown in euro on the site. Statutory rights for digital content apply. Credits already consumed (published races, downloaded exports) are not reversible.
You keep ownership of photos and copy you upload. You grant BEATME a worldwide, non-exclusive licence to host, display, and generate Open Graph / Studio images from that content so the service can function and so links you share can preview correctly.
BEATME owns the product design, code, and brand. Do not copy the product or scrape it.
We may change features, prices, or these Terms. The current Terms live at /terms. You may delete your account in dashboard settings. We may suspend accounts that violate these Terms. Surviving clauses (liability, licences already used for published pages until deletion completes) remain.
German law applies, excluding CISG. EU consumers may also sue in their home courts. The European Commission ODR platform is at https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr. We are not obliged to use alternative dispute resolution.
